[Troop222All] Adult Leader Training – Registered Leaders need to be trained

Training builds a stronger troop for YOUR son.  Please take the time to get yourself trained.

All adults that are registered with Boy Scouts of America must be trained for their leadership role.  But even if you are not a registered leader, getting trained makes for a better troop.

Here is a link to the Adult Training page on Pacific Skyline Council’s website:

To be a member of the committee you need:
– Youth Protection Training  (online)
– Troop Committee Challenge (online)

To be a registered Assistant Scout Master you need:
– Youth Protection Training (online)
– Boy Scout Leader Specific Training (in person class)
– Intro to Outdoor Leader Skills (overnight campout)

To be an informed & contributing parent you should take:
– Youth Protection Training (online)
– Boy Scout Leader Specific Training (in person class)

If you have the above training please also consider taking Wood Badge, this fall or Fall of 2016.

Cheers,

David Fichou
