Last May I lost my wooden pen, I loaned to a scout at our Flood Park meeting and never got it back. If there is a strange wooden pen in your hose (that happens to have my name on it) please bring it back, it has sentimental value to me.

October 14th Oktober Fest Parent Wine & Cheese Meeting
Keep the date open there will be more information coming from your Committee Chairs. This is an event for ALL parents of the troop.
October 23rd we are going Go-Karting
It will be from 7:00 to 9:00 on Wednesday the 23rd. The cost is $25. You must RSVP with Mr. Fichou today to reserve your spot. Space is limited!
Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops: (for ALL 2nd class or higher ranked scouts)
November 10th. This is a leadership training class for scouts. This class will give the scouts some tools to be better leaders in the troop and in life. Any scout with 2nd class or higher is encouraged to attend this class. Lunch will be provided. You MUST RSVP with Scoutmaster Fichou.

Mountain Man Rendezvous – Fri-Sun, Oct 18-20
Step back in time to see what it was like when pioneers roamed the frontier. The Rendezvous is for Boy Scouts and 2nd year Webelos hosted by a troop. Featured Programs: Scouts will learn frontier mountain man skills and do authentic rendezvous activities including: Archery, Gold Panning, Black Powder Rifle Shooting, Knife and Tomahawk Throwing, Rope Making, Candle Making, using Flint and Steel, Dutch Oven Cooking, Display Rifles, Making Bullets, Silkscreening (bring a blank T-shirt), and other events yet to be determined. Scouts also get to see how early pioneers lived by seeing an authentic reproduction of a mountain man encampment. Click here for more.
